I know that all of us here are trying to support one another in every way. We talk openly and candidly about things that are very important to us.

Well, I am counting on that support (whether or not you can make the show), and I would love your prayers and encouragement.

My band, Holding Out, has been playing here in the Portland area and believe that we were created to create, play and touch lives with music. It’s part of who we are. We may not be a “Christian band,” but we make no apologies for that, because we believe that music, life, and certainly God transcend any religious denomination. We love God, we love people (all people) and we love music. ‘Nuff said.

Sooooo…. Here’s the deal. Live CD show is going to be on April 27th (clear your calendars, it’s a Friday night), at 8:00 PM. It’s going to be held at the Church on the Hill (700 N. Hill Rd, McMinnville OR, 97128). There’s not a ticket fee, but we are asking for a $5 donation if you can. I understand that driving some distance (with gas at $27 a gallon) is expensive, but we would appreciate your support. Maybe carpool. Neat. Conservation and a good, rocking show. Sounds like a winning combination to me.

Dave is going to Spain. That is all. I leave on the 4th of April, back on the 16th. Also, I teach preschool now. It’s great. I love you guys, thanks for loving back.
