Yeah, I hear ya.  
 
It's an odd place, and the weather is rather cruel to a lot of plants. Although, I've learned over the years that you can have a very rich, lush garden full of veggies and flowers with the proper care. It just takes a little more planning and maintenance than places in the Willamette Valley, and other milder climates in Oregon.  
 
Once spring arrives I&#039;ll post some pictures of my yard so you can see.
